Responsible Vendor Training (RVT) is mandatory in Massachusetts for cannabis business employees. RVT programs are operated by education providers accredited by the Commission to provide an annual minimum of four hours of required training to Agents. All Agents involved in the handling and sale of Marijuana need to successfully complete a RVT Program to be designated a “Responsible Vendor”. Agent must receive four hours of ongoing training annually. The training must include at least four hours of active in-class or online instruction time by a Commission-certified Responsible Vendor Trainer.” Participants must pass a written test with a score of 70% or better. This course will be divided into 18 Lessons. Each lesson has multiple topics, listed below. Lessons and topics, along with a culminating quiz, must be completed in order for you to move on to the next topic or lesson. Learners must receive a passing score of 80% to proceed. Complete the training at your own pace. There will also be a Final Assessment after all lessons are completed that requires at least a 70% passing score.
