The Massachusetts Cannabis Control requires all employees of a licensed cannabis business, including all Marijuana Establishments and Medical Marijuana Treatment Centers employees, participate in a Massachusetts Responsible Vendor Course or Program. In this course, we will cover require topics to ensure all employees have an understanding of:
- Marijuana’s effect on the human body;
- Prevention of sales to minors;
- Compliance with tracking requirements;
- Acceptable forms of identification;
- Local and state licensing and enforcement;
- Incident and notification requirements
Other objectives include demonstrating your knowledge of:
- License and court sanctions;
- Health and safety standards;
- Conduct of establishment;
- Inspection by authorities;
- Record maintenance;
- Cultural competency (internal and external); and
- Safe delivery practices.
This course will be divided into 17 Lessons. Each lesson has multiple topics, listed below. Lessons and topics, along with a culminating quiz, must be completed in order for you to move on to the next topic or lesson. Learners must receive a passing score of 80% to proceed. Complete the training at your own pace. There will also be a Final Assessment after all lessons are completed that requires at least a 70% passing score.
